Written by the Apostle Paul while imprisoned in Rome, Philippians 4:13 is often quoted before athletic events or challenging tasks. However, in its true context (verses 11–12), Paul is describing his secret to contentment in every situation—whether well-fed or hungry, living in abundance or in dire need.
